New York State Prevention of School Violence Course:
New York State has a comprehensive approach to school safety. Passed by the New York State legislature in 2000, the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE)
legislation requires that persons seeking educational certification in New York State must participate in a two-hour violence prevention training.

New York State Child Abuse Course:
The purpose of this training is to provide the learner with the knowledge to make an informed decision about whether a situation involves child abuse or maltreatment, what the reporting obligation is, and how to go about making such a report.
Objectives:
After completing this course, the learner will be able to
Effectively report child abuse or maltreatment/neglect to New York State Central Register (SCR) of Child Abuse and Maltreatment. The SCR is also referred to as the “Hotline.”
Evaluate situations to determine the reasonable cause to suspect child abuse and maltreatment/neglect.
Identify physical and behavioral indicators associated with child abuse and maltreatment/neglect.
Describe legal frameworks for mandated reporters and the New York State Child Protective Services.

New York State Infection Control Course:
This course has been created to enable New York State-licensed health professionals to fulfill their requirement for mandatory infection control training as specified in Chapter 786 of the Laws of New York.
This course is approved by the NYS Department of Health and State Education Department and will meet licensure requirements for the following professions: Physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Podiatrists, Physician Assistants, Optometrists, Medical Students, Medical Residents, and Physician Assistant Students.
